One book that a lot of people like that I didn't enjoy that much is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. People liken it to books like Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre....like, it has a really brooding, tense atmosphere. But, for me, it didn't have the same vibrance, freshness and intensity as those books. It's not in the same class.
