Why was there such a panic about e-books replacing physical books? It hasn't happened and I don't think it's likely to happen, but what if it did? If you read a book on a screen, you're still reading the book. 

And e-books have a lot of advantages. They're searchable and you can copy and paste quotes. They cost less and when you buy one you can access it straight away. For the classics, which I think are the best books, you can often get books for free or get a complete set of a writer's works for a couple of dollars. 

And you can amass a huge library that you can carry around on a kindle or access on your computer.
