I watched The Horse Whisperer years ago and I was really moved by it. The horse is frantic and out of control, running all over the place - just complete panic. For the longest time, the horse whisperer just watched from a distance. 

He didn't rush in and try to whisper in the horses ear....no, he observed the horse, and that was all he did at first. I was thinking that we are like that horse and the horse whisperer is like God. We are out of control and we might think we're beyond help, even the help of God. 

But God is there and he knows and he cares and he helps.
