We're always influencing each other with narratives. I see it in my life over and over. I believe the stories I'm told and then I act on them and they inform the views I express and that causes things to develop in a certain way. It's not all one way. Each of us collaborates on creating narratives with others.
That's one of the reasons that I study the Bible. If I'm going to believe the narratives, let it be the ones that God tells.
