It's difficult to end a novel. You don't really want it to be memorable or profound. 

Some people don't like the ending of Wuthering Heights, but as with every other part of that novel, I loved it. 

Some people feel like it's too peaceful. It doesn't fit with the rest of the novel. I think it's perfect.
